About Dr. Silverman

William “Bill” Silverman grew up in Elizabeth, New Jersey. After high school he attended Amherst College in Massachusetts and University of Pennsylvania Dental School. He spent three years in Korea as an army dentist and upon returning to the United States he was stationed in Staten Island at Fort Wadsworth.

Dr. Silverman started his practice in Elizabeth in the middle sixties. He was also a dentist for the Elizabeth Board of Education for several years. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Union County Dental Association, and has been a member Essex County Dental Society and the Union County Dental Society.

He has stayed current attending many courses in Cosmetic Dentistry and Implants. He is also listed in the Guide to America’s Top Dentists for Family and Cosmetic Dentistry.
